Expat Citizen Rights in EU - 'ECREU' - was one of the first groups set up to fight for the rights of British citizens in the face of UK's impending departure from the EU.
It quickly grew to become the largest single group in Europe with more than 11,000 members from all 27 EU states plus the UK.
Now Brexit has happened, ECREU's work should be over, but there is still considerable anger and frustration amongst the many thousands of UK citizens whose lives and families have been disrupted, plus businesses that are finding promises of better times outside the EU are just not materialising. |

As public and legal arguments continue concerning loss of rights, some are saying the UK should re-join the EU. Theses arguments are likely to continue for a very long time, so although ECREU is no longer active, we remain here ready to act should the need arise. |
